Miss India International 2007, Esha Gupta who shot into limelight playing Emraan Hashmi’s girl in Jannat 2, is set to make a splash in south films.
She has been roped in to play a key role in Anushka’s upcoming a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Inji Iduppazhagi. Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the film is a romcom based on the travails of an obese girl (played by Anuskha) who falls in love with Arya.

“The filmmakers were looking for an actress with a stunning onscreen presence and they zeroed in on Esha. She would be everything that Anushka is not, in the film. In the film, Arya will be faced with the predicament of choosing between her and Anushka,” says a source.
